Let’s keep it real.
Being a mompreneur is not just “hard.” It’s waking up with tears in your eyes because you’ve poured everything, your money, your time, your body, your spirit, into a dream that hasn’t paid you back yet.
It’s making $0 in sales this week. It’s posting your heart out on social media and getting 100 views with 3 likes. It’s sitting in a living situation you hate and whispering to yourself: This is not forever.
And still… you keep going.
Because deep down you know: tomorrow could be the day everything changes.
The Weight No One Sees
When you’re a mom building a business, it’s not just business. It’s survival.
-
You’re feeding kids, wiping tears, and showing up for school projects.
-
You’re answering customers, building websites, and sourcing products at 2am.
-
You’re meditating, praying, working out… trying to keep your spirit from breaking when your body is already exhausted.
And the worst part? Sometimes your kids don’t even see it. They just see you saying “no” to something they want. And inside you’re screaming: I’m saying no today so I can say YES tomorrow.
That pain is heavy. But sis… you are not alone.
The Cocoon Stage (aka the part nobody posts)
Everybody shows the butterfly stage, the success, the cars, the money, the trips.
But no one shows the cocoon stage. The stage where you’re praying, crying, fighting, failing, and still pushing forward. The stage where nothing seems to work. The stage where you want to quit but can’t.
That’s where most mompreneurs are living. And if that’s you hear me when I say this: You are not failing. You are still forming.
When You Feel Like Giving Up
Here’s what I need you to do when you feel like you can’t go another day:
-
Write down 5 reasons why you think you haven’t hit your goals yet. Be brutally honest. No sugar-coating.
-
Next to each reason, write ONE small action you can take this week to push past it. (Example: If you write “I don’t post enough,” then commit to posting 3 times this week, no excuses.)
-
Start treating your business like it’s already paying you 6 figures. (Because it will if you don’t quit.)
-
Protect your mind. Meditate. Pray. Journal. Speak affirmations like your life depends on it, because it does!
-
Find one other mompreneur you can lean on. Iron sharpens iron. Stop trying to hold it all in.
The Truth No One Tells You
You might not see results this week. You might not see them this month.
But the seeds you’re planting are not wasted. Every post, every email, every product tweak, every late night, every tear… it’s all stacking up.
Your reward is not denied. It’s just delayed.
And when it comes? Whew. It won’t just bless you, it’ll bless your whole bloodline.
To Every Tired Mompreneur Reading This
This blog is your reminder that:
-
You’re not weak for being tired.
-
You’re not crazy for still believing in yourself.
-
You’re not behind you’re just still in preparation.
Don’t stop. Don’t quit. Don’t throw away the dream that’s going to set your family free.
Tomorrow could be the day it all clicks. But you’ll never see it if you stop today.
So keep going. Because your kids are watching. Because your legacy is waiting. Because your reward is already on the way.
Before You Go…
Reading this is powerful, but doing the work is where the transformation happens. That’s why I created a FREE downloadable checklist that you can use to get clarity on where you are right now and see what next steps you may need to take to get where you want to be. *scroll to bottom for download button*
I created the 2026 mompreneur monthly & weekly tracker for organization, discipline and accountability.
Inside, you’ll organize, track days, weeks and months, find a dashboard overview, budget, set goals and write affirmations to remind you why you’re doing this and help keep you focused.
Sometimes, organization is the first step to clarity which helps bring discipline and once you get those down, you’re golden!
Remember: you’re not failing, you’re forming. Your reward is already on the way.
